Tip 7: Close
all open files at night so they will be protected
Each night, the backup system we use
automatically makes a copy of all the files on file servers we maintain. If
a file is still open on someone's computer,
however, the system cannot back it up. If
you access files on a file server, please make sure all your files are
closed when you leave for the night,
so they can be backed up.
Tip 8:
Schedule delivery of email messages
in Outlook
If you want to delay the delivery of an email message by an hour, a day, or even a year, you can schedule its delivery in Outlook. Click the Options button in your open email message, and check the box next to "Do not deliver before:" Choose a date and time and click the close button. When you send the message, it will remain in your Outbox until the moment you specified, at which time it will be delivered. This works even if Outlook is not running at the time scheduled for delivery. Need help? Call the
